In August 2025, Fibreglaze restored this 8 x 4 m fibreglass pool in Urraween, Queensland. The pool presented with osmosis and surface blistering, together with a stained, rough and dated finish, requiring careful assessment and preparation before resurfacing.
Fibreglaze treated the osmotic damage, prepared the deteriorated surface and corrected irregularities with resin-based screeding and filler. A new structural fibreglass laminate and the Fibreglaze Enduratec finishing system were then installed, with the pool completed in Sapphire Blue Speckle AquaGuard as a smooth, seamless interior.
These photographs follow the work from the pool’s original condition through preparation and repair to the completed finish.
Excellent communication, excellent service and great job done by 3 lovely young blokes who really knew what they were doing.
Gave me correct timings and explanations for what they were doing and for how long each part of the job would take and the job overall from start to finish. They finished earlier than expected so I was able to arrange for the water truck to come earlier and fill the pool. Couldn’t fault anything and they made sure everything was clean again after they finished.
