In September 2023, Fibreglaze restored the marblesheen pool in Ferny Grove, Queensland. The existing pool presented with a faded or worn surface and a stained, rough or dated finish, requiring careful assessment and preparation before resurfacing.
The faded or worn surface was prepared for the new lining, and resin-based screeding and filler corrected surface irregularities. A new structural fibreglass laminate and the Fibreglaze Enduratec finishing system were then installed, with the pool completed in Dove Grey Speckle as a smooth, seamless surface.
These photographs follow the work from the pool’s original condition through preparation and repair to the completed finish.
Fibreglaze recently finished my pool renovation. They were very professional, explaining everything and helping me to select the best options and the most convenient time to do it. The renos they did in is not only good-looking but super practical. The water looks just like I wanted it to, a very clear and bright blue.
They finished the job when they said they would, and clean everything. They gave me instructions on how to restart, and “voila”! I can use my pool every day!
