In August 2024, Fibreglaze delivered a coordinated repair program for Quilpie Shire Council across the Eromanga and Quilpie aquatic centres. At Eromanga, failed backfill and groundwater pressure had deformed sections of the 20 x 6 m, three-piece moulded fibreglass pool shell, with osmosis also identified.
Working alongside Council’s civil works, Fibreglaze repaired and pressure-tested exposed plumbing, realigned and reinforced the deformed walls, treated osmosis, and resurfaced the pool with the Enduratec system. Fibreglaze also supervised the engineered backfill reinstatement to ensure the pool shell remained aligned.
