In July 2024, Fibreglaze restored the 8 x 3.5 m fibreglass pool in Burpengary, Queensland. The existing pool had a worn and faded surface together with osmosis blistering, requiring careful assessment and preparation before resurfacing.
The worn surface was prepared and osmotic damage and blistering were treated where identified. Surface irregularities were corrected with resin-based screeding and filler, a new structural fibreglass laminate was installed, and the pool was completed in Sapphire Blue Speckle using the Fibreglaze Enduratec finishing system.
These photographs follow the work from the pool’s original condition through preparation and repair to the completed finish.
