In April 2026, Fibreglaze restored this 8 x 4 m fibreglass pool in Highfields, Queensland. The pool presented with osmosis and surface blistering, requiring careful assessment and preparation before resurfacing.
Fibreglaze treated the osmotic damage and corrected surface irregularities with resin-based screeding and filler. A new structural fibreglass laminate and the Fibreglaze Enduratec finishing system were then installed, with the pool completed in Sapphire Blue Speckle AquaGuard as a smooth, seamless interior.
These photographs follow the work from the pool’s original condition through preparation and repair to the completed finish.
The service provided by fiberglaze has been superb.
I got quotes from other providers for the resurfacing of an old fiberglass pool, where I either received “go away” quotes or a lack of communication.
In the end fiberglaze was not the cheapest option available however due to there swift communication, service and knowledge I opted for them anyways.
The end result was an extremely professional resurfacing making my dated, osmosis riddled pool look brand new.
The guys that attended to the complete the work was also professional, communicating well through the process and delivering a service that made me feel better about the cost of the whole process.
